We began selling our popular Alpine Meadow Fibers through our Spinning and Weaving Shop known as Bountiful about 10 years ago. They have been very popular fibers. We are now having these fibers spun into beautiful yarns for knitters, crocheters, weavers and other fiber artists.
Our yarns are spun in the USA in small batches for a unique “Hand Spun” appearance. We have free patterns on the back of the labels and also on our website. We also have patterns for sale.
A blend of soft Wools, Alpaca, Silk and Angelina; our wonderfully soft, sparkly Alpine Meadow Yarns can be Knitted, Crocheted, Woven and/ or felted. We also have yarns with sequins! Angelina is a new, very fine unique fiber. Light reflective as well as light refractive, Angelina is incredibly luminescent and has an extremely soft hand.
Take our yarns into the light to view them. They literally dance with colors!!!
ALPINE MEADOW YARNS are inspired by the beautiful Rocky Mountain Meadow where we live and work. Each day brings a new delight to our senses: new flowers bloom, the birds serenade us and the animals entertain us. We wake to the most amazing sunrises and linger outside on the front porch to enjoy the sunsets.
